Adventures in Babysitting

So it's been a long and busy week. I thought I'd be posting more frequently throughout the holidays, but we've had our hands full juggling dogs and work I've hardly had the time to pick up my camera.


Here's what I managed to get together so far.
Cassidy came first, to celebrate passover. She and Mayble are like old friends.

Then our next guest came to join the fun. The baby of the bunch, little Kozmo. He's a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, all furry and freckles. We make a good match, no?



We look like a Fido ad.



He's just 7 months old, and it was his first time away from his home and his parents. So we wanted him to feel safe and happy during his stay with us.



A little shy to begin with, for the first little while he was glued to our laps.





But not for long!

The following day saw the arrival of our good friend Bruno the Beagle. He and Mayble walk together all the time, and he's just the greatest. He's super easy going, and easy to please.



He is deeply in love with Ryan.

Well, five's a crowd!



Our final two guests arrived on Friday.
Shy guy Arthur, who took his time getting adjusted...



Slowly but surely...



...he came around.



But not before little Pinot showed up.



It's never a party....



...until somebody puts the lampshade on.





Right?

Overall it's been a great weekend. All the dogs have settled in nicely, and it's been interesting to see the little connections they've made with one another.







Tommorrow is our last day together, and I'll try to get more action shots. So far I've only been able to get them while they're asleep! Speaking of that, I'm off to bed............ Goodnight!
