sometimes i miss taiwan....i miss the palm trees and i miss walking in the jungle.
we adopted our dog mayble in taiwan...she was rescued by some nice buddist ladies in the countryside, and we snatched her up off the street where they were trying to give her away...don't laugh....not to eat...it is ILLEGAL to eat dog meat there FYI.
i wonder if she misses her friends?
this is her boyfriend...he, like lots of the dogs there, ran around the streets and did what he pleased. he lived on the army base with some other dogs, but would join us when he saw us walking in the old abandoned amusement park with mayble...we named him "buddy".
buddy was a typical taiwan "go" (dog in chinese), and if we could've...we would've kept him! but buddy was lucky on the army base, because they took good care of him, even though they let him run wild, he had dog friends and food to eat.
he and mayble loved each other. we loved him too.
miss you buddy! :)
